The EMG data will only appear in the report when the EMG names comply with the following rules:
Each name starts with body side identification. Only “Right“ or Left” or “R” or “L” followed by “single space” or “underscore” followed by signal name is recognized by the module. For example “Right Biceps Femoris” or “L_Gluteus Maximus”.
For EMG data that is collected via a Qualisys AD board (USB-2533) the prefix “EMG_” must be added to EMG signals. Add the “EMG_” prefix only for those channel names that you want to be plotted in the report.
Signals will be plotted in the same order as entered to device setup.
By default we plot normative data provided by Delsys unless Noraxon device is used. Noraxon normative file is applied only if Noraxon device has been used to collect the data directly in QTM via the digital integration. Custom normatives can be used by replacing corresponding .vnd file in [your project]\Template\Assets\Visual3D Normatives\. Note that in absence of .vnd, Visual3D processing will produce a number of warnings and errors.
In order to see normatives, signal names must match exactly one of the following labels:
Default normatives contains these signals:
Biceps Femoris
Gastrocnemius lateral
Soleus
Tibialis Anterior
Vastus Lateralis
Vastus Medialis
Noraxon users can see normatives for these signals:
Biceps Femoris
Erector Spinae lumbar
Erector Spinae thoracic
External Oblique
Gastrocnemius lateral
Gastrocnemius medial
Gluteus Maximus
Gluteus Medius
Hip Adductors
Internal Oblique
Multifidus
Peroneus
Rectus Abdominis
Rectus Femoris
Semitendinosus
Soleus
Tensor Fasciae Latae
Tibialis Anterior
Trapezius upper
Vastus Lateralis
Vastus Medialis
There are several options to change the way EMG signals are presented in Word report. To do so open settings.php from the Templates folder, scroll down to //Word report graphs settings and follow the instructions in the file:
By default processed and raw EMG signals are plotted on separate page. It is possible to combine them into one graph
Note: Incorrect signal names will result in error messages in Pipeline Processing Results and normative data for EMG signals will not be assigned to graphs.
Note: EMG signals are added to the reports dynamically based on the EMG channels found in the QTM files; therefore they are not included in the report template and cannot be modified by changing the report template in Visual3D.
